The German School Erbil was inaugurated on 16th of September 2010. In its first year of operation it offers classes in primary school year 1-5, as well as several kindergarten groups and a pre-school class. The school�s long term goal is to expand and introduce the German Abitur in the country of Iraq at the German School Erbil, Kurdistan by 2018/19.
